Let players use their own Apple Watches.
Install the free player app, enter the coach's private Watch code, and the player's Watch can receive the calls. The coach and player do not need to share an Apple account or pair their devices together.
Call Home does not require your team to buy a proprietary wristband, receiver, or dedicated pitch-calling kit. The coach uses an iPhone. Players receive calls through the Apple Watches your team already has.

The receiving Apple Watch does not need to be paired with the coach's iPhone. It operates independently using the same private Watch code.

Some teams use a shared “team Watch”—often an older Apple Watch a coach already owns but no longer wears. As long as the Watch is compatible with the app and has network access, it can be handed to the eligible receiver for the game.
The same Call Home system works differently for different players and positions. Use the display, spoken audio, haptics—or the combination that fits your team.
A pitcher can wear AirPods connected to the receiving Apple Watch and hear the pitch call privately. The player does not have to look at the Watch during the at-bat.
AIRPODS · SPOKEN CALLThe player can wear the Apple Watch and rely on haptic patterns instead of checking the screen: one vibration for Fastball, two for Curve, and three for Change.
WATCH · HAPTICSA catcher will often want to look at the Watch to see both the pitch and its location. The display makes the complete call clear at a glance.
WATCH · DISPLAYYour pitcher may choose AirPods or haptics without looking at the screen. Your catcher may prefer to see the complete pitch and location on the Watch. Call Home gives the coach, player, and team the flexibility to choose.
Always confirm that the player, Apple Watch, AirPods, and chosen receiving method are permitted under the rules for your game or event.
Players pay nothing. Coaches receive their first 50 live calls free.
